In RC2 the category and product list page templates are generated based on the store owner's choice; expanded or line. A different situation occurs depending on which you select. I'm using the Tool Kit to create multiple category page templates with different layouts for the various categories. So when I create a page, e.g. CTGYL and choose the line layout, it wraps the add and buy buttons with this conditional <mvt:if expr="l.settings:product:inv_level NE 'out'"> But when I create a page, e.g. CTGY2 for a 2 column layout, there is no conditional around those buttons. Hence, when the product is out of stock in the line layout, the buttons are not there. In the column layout both buttons are there and clickable. If the customer clicks they go to the product out screen. Why frustrate them by giving them a button just to waste a click. I know, just edit the template and wrap the buttons. My feeling is the auto-generated template should wrap the buttons as the default. At the very least it should be consistent between line and column listing.
