I have asked for this before. We are at the point where we MUST have a variable telling the accurate API version. I have modules that need to use the new metatag feature, a definite change in the API. If I put code in them to search a database that is not there because they have not updated, it will crash. How am I supposed to know what code to execute if I can't tell the API version. The current beta 3 is still showing 5.00.
