    Re: MM5.5 RC1 - Download Files Here

Ok, A bit more troubleshooting finds that I was able to install it without a problem on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 9) server with MySQL version: 4.1.15-standard with no issues.

This must have been a server/Miva Engine misconfiguration.

        Re: MM5.5 RC1 - Download Files Here

We have plenty of sites running on Miva 5 just fine on this server that I could not install 5.5 RC 1, but have been able to install all 3 of the betas prior. Is there some server dependency that was added in 5.5 that we may have overlooked in the server setup?

          Re: MM5.5 RC1 - Download Files Here

I notice another thing, it does not create any store related tables s01 etc, but it says I have added a store already and need another lic to add an additional store. That should at least give us a point of failure. I checked the the server is running the latest MySQL connector.

            Re: MM5.5 RC1 - Download Files Here

            A couple questions then...

Did you have the /frameworks/ directory created in your scripts/mm5/ directory?

            s#store_number# directory created in /frameworks/ ?

Did you have the /export/ directory created in your data/Merchant5/s#store_number# directory?

            Thanks.

                Re: MM5.5 RC1 - Download Files Here

install.log and s01 would be in the data folder...what about the scripts?
Any luck finding frameworks in your /mm5/ folder?

Can you check if your MM5 folder has any htaccess files or anything that would prevent new file/folders from being created?

                Thanks.

Sorry, my bad, the scripts folder does have a frameworks folder in it.the frameworks folder is empty. Also, the permissions look strange see:

                  -bash-3.1$ cd htdocs/merchant2
                  -bash-3.1$ ls -la

You might want to run diag5 on your domain to uncover any issues with your installation.
You can contact Jim in support if you don't have diag5 or not sure what it is.

                    Thanks.

                        Well I give up :)

The only thing we can do now is if you can create us an account and provide ssh access, I can look at this issue when I get the chance.

                        Thanks.

Is the RC1 that we installed from scratch the same as the streaming 5.5 that others are testing for the 5.0 to 5.5 upgrade? Or is our RC1 orphaned?>

                            Your RC1 is orphaned.

Not your personal part, but any store that was built from scratch using RC1 is complete.

Please continue testing using a store you've upgraded via the streaming process.
                                Thanks,
