    Importing Products UI

thought we already had a post on this but can't find...

This area seriously needs an update to a vertical display of the fields imo to eliminate all the horizontal scrolling even with dual 20" displays.

The other part is to allow the field pop downs to auto match field names when a header row is included. Actually that would take priority if I had to choose.
    Thanks,

    Re: Importing Products UI

I've been AWOL for a good while and plug back in for a bit to experience well actually it was importing customer data, but seriously something as simple as my opening post especially to allow the field pop downs to auto match field names when a header row is included would make common import/update task easier, quicker and a pleasure to do for store owners. This was they don't have to be so proficient on creating their import with all the fields in a predetermined order or having to match all the pop down field mapping options. What should have taken me 5 minutes or less importing data last night took way longer while I screwed around with determined field order and finding out my perfectly spelled header row didn't mean crap with the header row option check on other than to ignore it omg.

BTW for folks new to this stuff FileMaker Pro DBMS runs on Mac and Windows will save a lot of pain on suffering compared to using a spreadsheet in working with your offline data.
    Thanks,
