    Inventory at Attribute Level

    Small inconsistency:
    Using the example link: http://store.yellowtee.com/P-A-TestShirt.html
When a customer selects a size first, the colors that are out of stock have their radio buttons disabled (which I like). If the customer selects the color first, the sizes that are out of stock are hidden. I wonder if anyone thinks this could lead to confusion since "Medium" is gone completely? Would it be better to disable "Medium" instead? Is this all template controlled? I'm curious how much control store owners will have with the look and feel here.

    No-JavaScript Bug:
If JavaScript is disabled on the customer's browser and they choose an out of stock product combination, they are sent to a screen that says the product they selected is out of stock (which is perfect). However, the "back" button takes them to their shopping cart and not the product they were viewing.

    Brandon,

Thanks for the No JS Bug heads up.

I'll talk to Dev about your first item and post more lately. There is a setting to show all options on initial load, and then hide after first selection. This could help alleviate what you describe.

The same thing that happens with the No JS Bug happens when a customer tries to add a quantity greater than what's in stock.

        Re: Inventory at Attribute Level

Inventory at the attribute level is now in order by the first attribute in my case color but is still not in order by the first then second so sizes are still scrambled

Other than that is seems to be working perfectly

Try going into the PROD page, under Attribute Inventory and playing with those settings.

            Re: Inventory at Attribute Level

I have played with them but it does not seem to give a way to control anything as far as order is concerned. Even if I just choose Black as a drop down with "any" size selected the order of the sizes is still scramble. It is putting the color in order but it does not put the sizes in order. I tried changing the order so that size was the first attribute but it did not seem to make a difference.

Oh I misunderstood you. I thought you meant they weren't behaving on the shopping side.

In the admin, they display in the order they show up in the product list. So choose a subset and reorder it on the Products tab, and then go look, they should be in the order you want.

You can do this via import as well.

Also make sure you set the other variable on the PROD page back to the default one, to make sure the shopping behavior is as you expect.
              Thanks,

I'm guessing you mean that after adding a product I will need to go to the products and re-order my entire product list?

The second problem I guess is that there seems to be no easy way to do this without having to change the numbers with the show order option. Re-order them by code and a size 10 shows before a 5... I assume sm,md,lg would also get scrambled by this.

So in this respect it would be nice if once you clicked show order changed the order of something and clicked update it would go back to still showing the order numbers in order to be able to do it again and again and again.

I am going to forward you an e-mail conversation with someone who was stating that they could not see the different sizes after changing a color even though they did have java enabled.
