Store not packing

Hello,

After the most recent update, when I try to pack my store, I just get a white page. Nothing ever says data packed.

Suggestions?

That is a known bug. I'm told it will be fixed in the next beta. Some of my launch pad user defined buttons are not working either, due to the same general problem. It has to do with the session ID.

Do you know if optimizing the data within phpMyAdmin does the same thing? Or similar?

To pack the data until the next patch you'll have to build the pack URL.

When you login you'll have to click on something, say Edit Store (store name),
and then view the frame source. You'll be able to find a session ID in
the frame source so add it to the end of the URL. You can search the source for 'Session_ID'.

After you find the session id your URL will look like this:

domain.com/mm5/admin.mvc?Session_ID=17063e39e320d3cd09597bc&Scree n=BLNK&Action=PACK

I am not able to find a session ID from within the admin. Not sure how to view just that frame.

No you can't use one from outside the admin. If you did not see one than you did not view the frame source after clicking on the store name.
