We released Amazon Marketplace support yesterday as part of Miva Marketplaces 1.0004 and it's available now on apps.miva.com
9.3 will be released in early April. It includes Gift Certificates, Account Credit Management System, Multi-Add To Cart, Admin Enhancements (no easy to show them in this quick post) and a bunch of other things.
Re: Any Significant Announcements at the Conference?
Oh and Marketplaces can now push order tracking data back up to eBay and Amazon even if you use something like StoneEdge that doesn't follow the API's (previously it did that, but you had to "properly use the API's" otherwise it would break).
Re: Any Significant Announcements at the Conference?
Rick,
Is it me or is the only way to locate Marketplaces in version 1.04 by using the search feature? There is no tab under utilities, nor the menu drop down, nor the quick links.
Another thing I just noticed is that you cannot add one of your Miva Products to Amazon, only the other way around (Amazon to Miva)?
Re: Any Significant Announcements at the Conference?
That's funny I swear they weren't there earlier. NM though they are now.
Another thing I noticed is that you cannot add one of your Miva Products to Amazon, only the other way around (Amazon to Miva)? Is this going to change in the future?

Correct, product must be on Amazon first and then you associate them with a Miva product.
We're exploring if we can make it work the other way, we're not sure yet. The good news is while it's a bit of a PITA, once it's done once, it's done for good.
Re: Any Significant Announcements at the Conference?
I'm not sure what you mean by that? Even if we figure out how to "automate" it, you'll still need to meet their same requirements. So you'll need UPC Codes, ASIN's, Amazon Seller SKU's and an Amazon Seller Pro account.
So you can do all of those tasks manually today to create your products on Amazon and then link them to the products in your Miva store.
Re: Any Significant Announcements at the Conference?
Rick,
I have all that information as I manufacture a lot of my products. What I was looking for and hoping for was the same ability in Miva as y'all have for eBay.
e.g. Input a new product into Miva, create the listing specs for eBay, and then upload it to eBay (change eBay to Amazon)
In other words I want the ability to go from Miva to Amazon and not the other way around. Hope that explains it better.
Re: Any Significant Announcements at the Conference?
I hate Amazon's flat files and was hoping for an easier way to add new products to Amazon. I probably will not integrate my existing sku's from Amazon to Miva as I just see no real need/use for that.
I will gladly help you beta test an ideas y'all start to work on for Amazon.
Sincerely,

Re: Any Significant Announcements at the Conference?
We've implemented the Amazon Marketplace feature but not seeing tracking head back to Amazon either automatically or manually.
The workflow is: we "Get Orders" from Amazon into Miva and they are then imported by Stone Edge. After shipping the tracking information does go back to the orders in Miva but that's where it ends. In the Marketplace module there is an "Update Shipping" button and it does indicate that shipping has been updated for x orders when pressed. But the status in Amazon continues to show as "Unshipped" until we manually fix them there. Are we doing something incorrectly? Or is there a glitch? Thanks.
