UPS and USPS live rates? Is there a work around?

I understand that UPS doesn't want live rates next to say USPS live rates in a Miva cart.

Is there a way to still offer UPS with other carriers like USPS with either a 3rd party module or other way?

Yes the two ways are:

1. The Viking Coders "Custom" module which works through a loophole (sort of).

2. Get a waiver from UPS.

Our Fedex and UPS contract rates are usually very close. Per Rick's suggestion we used the Amazon approach, wherein we renamed our shipping options using the "Display as" function to Ground - Home, Ground - Commercial, 2-Day, etc... Then we mapped the Fedex pricing to them and they coexist with USPS on our site. See what we did in the table below.
