Facebook Store Integration / FB Marketplace

There seems to be a renewed push towards integrating e-ccommerce stores within Facebook Pages. A few platforms (Shopify, Bigcommerce, Wix) currently have "store builder" apps that allow a merchant's catalog to be pushed up to FB, and have features like real time updates, visual organization, and Newsfeed "Buy Buttons". (http://www.websitebuilderexpert.com/...acebook-store/)

The FB mobile app now has a "Marketplace" tab (apparently this is just being tested, but my account is one that is now displaying it) which allows users to browse and buy from the stores associated with the FB Pages that they have "Liked". It's a very nice feature, and has been prominently displayed in the center of the app's bottom toolbar. (http://www.theverge.com/2015/12/29/1...pdate-shopping)

Are there any plans to revisit some of the Miva solutions to push stores onto FB? Facebook's new updates and testing seems to suggest they are encouraging this type of integration.

Re: Facebook Store Integration / FB Marketplace

We don't have any integration in active development but we are watching and paying attention to how much momentum these new marketplaces get. Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter all have new functionality they are testing where you can buy right from their platforms and push the orders back into the ecommerce platform (Miva)

Assuming selling on these platforms continues to increase, I can see a likely future where we have built in integrations with all 3 platforms as part of Miva's Marketplaces functionality.

For the time being, we still offer the ability to embed your products into facebook via an iframe, you just don't checkout and purchase from Facebook, it takes you back to Miva to complete checkout.

Brennan, could you give us some details on how this should be done or a link to information please.

I know this is a really old thread, but Facebook/Instagram are now forcing merchants to use their checkout in order to have a shop on their platforms. Is there any update on possibly including support for Meta Commerce accounts in the marketplaces app?

Nothing to announce right now, but we're rethinking about Marketplace strategy and hope to share updates once we're ready.
