    Expedited Parcel with Canada Post missing?

    Expedited Parcel is available when creating the shipping label but does anyone know why it doesn't appear as a shipping option to the customer? I check the Canada Post Module and Expedited is checked for Canada and the USA but it's the only option that doesn't appear.

    Any help or direction would be appreciated.

    What type of account do you have with Canada post? “Expedited Parcel” is only allowed for Contract accounts.

      Thanks for the quick reply. Actually expedited parcel is available for anyone with a Commercial account. This means a contract account OR a venture account. I confirmed this with Canada Post commercial customer service. So anyone with a commercial account should be able to use expedited. It shows up in the shipping area to create a label but doesn't show in the mini basket display. Not sure if it's a glitch or an incorrect setting.

        Hi Christine

        Sorry for the confusion. Within the Canada Post module what do you have set for the “Account type” field? Currently the only options are Contract or non-contract.

        I don’t know how the venture accounts work, but if they have provided you with a “contract-id/ Contract Number” you should be able to select the account type of contract and be able to get the expedited parcel rates.

        I will keep looking through the rates API doc to see if they mention venture accounts anywhere.

          It may be called "Solutions for Small Business". I forgot they renamed Venture One.

            I'm looking into this for my mom who has a Solutions for Small Business account (formally but sometimes still referred to as VentureOne). She has an account number but not a contract number. She she needs to select Non-Contract and input her solutions account number. Expedited comes up to ship and create labels but doesn't show in the mini basket. It also doesn't come up during the checkout.

            Here is a link to the Canada Post page about Expedited Parcel and near the bottom under Rates & Price --> Discounts it lists savings for VentureOne members. Canada Post also confirmed it should be available for VentureOne(small business solutions) and Contract Customers.
