Miva Synchro, Tax Question on Miva Merchant 9

I just noticed that for the last few months (since we upgraded to Miva 9) the Sales Receipts that we get in Quickbooks always have a tax line - regardless of whether tax was charged or not.

I can experiment and find something but would love to hear someone with experience in this
    a) Should I set - let quickbooks do tax caluclations?
    b) Any other setting in Miva or in Sycnhro that I have not yet heard of that says only pass through the tax that has actually been charged and collected? At this moment it creates a tax line whether we have collected taxes or not.

Oc course this has been going on for a few months and I did not notice - so I have to manually go back and fix a lot of Sales receipts.

    Thanks
    Sam

I tested this with MM5 PR8U12 AND MM 9.0004, and did not see any tax line items when there was no tax line item in Merchant. The separate Tax dropdown list in QuickBooks does show mm-tax-invoice (which is what I have my Invoice Tax configured to in "Properties: Orders: Sales Receipt Settings"), but the value next to it is zero, and that is not a line item.

Other settings in in my test environment under "Properties: Ordes: Sales Receipt Settings" are:
    Payment Method: None
Shpping: Create/Use Miva Merchant Shipping Method
Sales Tax: Create Invoice Line Item
    Line Tax Item: "mm-tax-item"
    Invoice Tax: "mm-tax-invoice"
Line Items: "Create Line Item for Shipping Charges" and "Create Line Item for Other/Coupon Charges:"
    Shipping Item: "mm-shipping"
    Other: "mm-other"

Please provide any differences between what you have configured and the above.
