What's Miva doing to handle the mandatory GTIN requirement for all PLA's going into effect on May 16th? If Miva has no update coming for this I take it we will need to use custom fields for UPC codes??

Yes you would need to add this as a custom product field.

Let me ask this then. Since Google and eBay have both made it mandatory that UPC's exist with products. Does Miva not intend to fix the eBay issue concerning UPC codes and being unable to upload products with attributes?
