Uploaded Module in Directory but Not Available

Downloaded the Miva Donate module (mvdonate), uploaded via admin Add Module function.
Does not show up in modules list, or under system extensions. Yet if I ftp to site it is showing in /system directory.

    Any ideas/suggestions?
    Best,
    Frank B.

After you added the module, did you go to the Add/Remove modules section of System Extensions to assign (install) it there? Or are you saying that it's not showing up on that screen?

      Leslie,
It only shows in the server directory (via ftp)
Doesn't show in the modules list or as a choice under system extensions. Odd

Please take no offense with my next question, but after you uploaded the module via the Add Module screen, did you click the Add + button?

No offense taken, as you were spot on.
It's been a long time since I've added any modules to our store, missed that step.
Suddenly everything works as it's supposed to!

Thanks so much Leslie, I'll bet I remember this the next time :-)

You should also check the permissions on the module and ownership and make sure it is the same user of miva account other than the ftp user. my 2 cents

Good deal Frank. You should also now be a fully subscribed member of the forum. For some reason, your 4th post had to be approved too.
