    EDI and/or Order Export

Hello All, I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with an EDI (drop ship) solution with "easy" integration with Miva via API? Subsequently if there are no real out of the box solutions is there a module to export single orders as they arrive in csv format to a predetermined ftp depending on order contents?

    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

    Hi there Michael!

I'm not sure if EDI and 'easy' can coexist in the same sentence, but we've certainly worked with EDI and have made it as easy as 'turn-key' as possible. The majority of the work has been around drop-ship vendors, and prompted building a specific tool for managing EDI-based integration(s). Additionally, we have a number of tools for exporting formatted order data to a CSV and delivering it via FTP.

Please email [email protected] or [email protected] and we'll get a quick discovery scheduled to explore your specific requirements.

    All the best,

We import as we do drop ship for customers, we export feeds to companies that aggregate product feeds from lots of wholesalers and built sites for retailers who don't carry their own inventory. It can get really complicated. Everyone might use the same software, but their integration is different at each of those aggregators. We also export all our own wholesale orders (for our retailers who buy direct from us and who do carry inventory) and we export all this to our own in house shipping system.

We did a some of the work but ended up hiring Phillip and the Miva design team to do the heavy lifting on this stuff. I really advise using them. Also give them really clear definition of what you need exactly. That will help them help you a lot and make it faster, which ultimately means less expense to you.

And I am a store owner who does a LOT of miva development. Still I hired them for the kind of thing you are doing. I am not being paid to say any of this. I am just very happy about how it is working.
