Mailchimp error '' is not in the list of valid ISO 4217 currencies

Have connected to my mailchimp account. It shows it is connected in mailchimp website. However on miva side when I click update it give the error '' is not in the list of valid ISO 4217 currencies". When I click okay it just goes back to the "get started" with the chimp pictured. Can't access the mailchimp miva settings.

This is a fresh install of the shadows to a dev site.

So now I get the ISO 4217 currency error when trying to install shipstation.

Am on my dev site. #1 Go to mailchimp on order fufillment page #2 - get started #3 - Pop Up to connect to mailchimp #4 - log in #5 - Mailchimp configuration select newsletter and Us Dollar then save. #6 - button greys out IF I WAIT I get error: Line #1 - Syntax error: Expected { or [ IF I CLICK UPDATE while button is grey I GET: '' is not in the list of valid ISO 4217 currencies This one is new today: Failed to create a MailChimp store after 50 attempts. Everytime.

Now when I go to mailchimp my account is connected. The module is just not installed and can't access the settings.

Solved the shipstation issue. Went into modules for mailchimp and made it not active. Then went back to order fulfillment, to add/remove modules and clicked the install on shipstation. It finished and the settings showed up for shipstation. The mailchimp module setting are still not showing. It now tells me failed to create a mailchimp store after 50 attempts. I did not try that many times so it must be stuck and then trying itself again over and over.

I have filed a bug for the ('' is not in the list of valid ISO 4217 currencies) error. I have also reproduced the issue you are seeing with “Failed to create a MailChimp store after 50 attempts”.

For me this was caused by my Mailchimp account already having a store setup with the domain of “http://My-name-here/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT”. As of mm9.08.00 the MailChimp module will set the domain when creating the store during the MailChimp “get started” process. If that domain is already associated with that MailChimp account, it will return an error of

"Bad Request","status":400,"detail":"We were unable to process the request. A store with the domain http://dev-test-eforesman01.coolcomm...vc?Screen=SFNT already exists in the account.",".

After which it will automatically try again for 50 times, after the 50^th failure, it gives up returning the error you are seeing.

So far the best way to resolve this is to go into MailChimp and remove the store that has that domain associated so that when you run “get started” from the MailChimp module in Miva it is successful.

9.11.00 didn't contain any bug fixes (on purpose) it was solely for enabling browser authentication for all users. 9.12.00 will contain some bug fixes (I don't know offhand if this is slated for that release or not).

Apologies. Didn't mean to imply the latest release would fix this.

Just that this is kind of a weird one that's been around for a bit. I just spent about 90 min trying to debug the issue in a custom fulfillment module that didn't have a bug. Learning about the workaround isn't easy because of what triggers the error.
