Now that a couple months have gone by and a number of other shopping cart & website providers have provided tools to their customers to help with GDPR compliance, I'm hoping that miva has something to offer us. At least there should be an option for cookie notification - what is the status on this?

Just click the download button, configure it, copy the code, and insert it into the User Interface >> Settings >> Head Tag Content Section. Works great as cookie notification and consent button. If you want more control, you can configure it, but you'll need to use the documentation and have more patience.

Anybody having issues with it not wanting to work as needed with Google Chrome on a Mac? I clear my cache, clear my cookies and it just doesn't want to display. Works great in Firefox and Safari.

A little late to the party, but I just set this up on our sites today - it's working for me on Chrome for Mac.

If you're looking for a cookie notification solution, also take a look at Cookie Control: https://www.civicuk.com/cookie-control. It gives the user control over which categories of cookies to accept, and the inexpensive pro plan allows you to use geolocation so the cookie control experience is only presented to users accessing your site from select countries. It's much more complicated to implement correctly (you need to do a complete cookie audit of your site and categorize all cookies that are set), but it provides much more functionality than other solutions and can be configured so that all cookies are set by default for users outside EU countries. It took me quite a while to get it configured to work correctly with all my cookies, but now it's functioning perfectly.
