Tracking Embedded YouTube Video views via Google Analytics

Is there a way to track an embedded YouTube video's views from within the Google Analytics Tracking Code settings within the store? I've found that it can be done using the Google Tag Manager but I don't quite know how the two play together.

GTM is not set up. The site is using the default GA configuration. I was trying to find a way to work within those confines.

In that case, my first suggestion would be to set-up GTM in store. It will offer a lot of things out-of-the-box like this particular instance.

Coming back to your question now, you can try with this plugin : https://www.lunametrics.com/blog/201...-analytics-gtm , I haven't used it before, but it sounds like something that could help you out here.

Are there any Miva how-to doc to use this configuration?

FYI - I do have GA tracking the embedded views. The store owner is wanting more info such as likes and shares. I've recommended Hootsuite.
