    Google Shopping Feed and Discontinued Products

    Hello All,

    I have a question regarding the Google Shopping Feed aspect of making discontinued products as active. How do you classify a product as discontinued and have it excluded from google shopping feed since if the discounted products are generated in the feed and not available to add to cart, the feed will get rejected from Google. Please provide some input for getting around this conflict, thanks!

    I moved this to a new thread, so it can be handled properly.

      Hi Rick,

      Do you remember where you moved it to. I'd be interested in reading this.

              Thanks Rick. I am having a similar problem, except that the products were moved to an alternate display page. So, guess I'd have to block products that have that alternate display page code.

                If you don't have too many to mark, just create a custom field (checkbox) and then in the iterator template, wrap it with

                <mvt:if expr="NOT(l.settings:record:customfield:values:nam e-of-custom-field)">

                </mvt:if>

                This won't help you jamie :), but I think we have a solution--talk to you off line.
