Review Basket Module Needs Some Love

Just had a case where the Miva Review Basket Module was kinda helpful... but it really showed its faults. Had an order that a team member here was taking over the phone for a wholesale client a few days ago. The order was over 200+ items and a couple thousand dollars. The team member got to the OPAY page but forgot to hit the last step of checkout. The basket ended up timing out and the whole order was lost to the either (so he thought). Luckly i was able to find it in the Miva Review Basket Module. The downside here was that there was no way to pick up where the order was left off, we had to add each item one by one to a new cart and continue. The advanced filter also does not have options for filtering by order total, or number of items. This module saved us but it feels like it could be better with not much more effort. The use of a Session ID to hop directly into an abandoned order would be amazing! Anyone have any basket modules with these features or that they love?

Review Baskets is greatly improved in Miva 10. It includes the following features:

- Ability to modify basket contents via admin
- Shop As Customer Integrated into Review Baskets Screen
- Convert Basket to Order from Admin
- Add/ Remove Basket Charges
- Add Remove Subscriptions

2020 sometime, but I don't yet have a more granular timeline than that yet.

Yea, Scott Shepard @ South Bound (http://www.southbound.com/) has an 'abandoned' basket integration, that in part, lets you return to the store, and have it recreate an expired basket. (stores the basket as a cookie i believe). its not a module, has it has several different applications. but we have two clients that love it.

What is the issues with Search you've seen?

Basket Custom Fields are not currently displayed. What is the use case you've used for them here?

If you are expecting Store owners to recover and order from a basket, the basket fields may contain specific information about the order (like order notes). Also, probably most useful for debugging or locating certain baskets for review. (Like 'show me all baskets whose 'custom field' "Black Friday Promotion" is true.)
