    Sectigo Opinions and Trustlogo install

    Hi all,
I had contacted support to find out how to display the SSL seal they just installed for us on praisewear.com - they sent me to Sectigo.com to go get it seal- went through the process to verify us and now see they used to be Comodo and I"m not reading good things about them and don't see the word Sectigo coming up on a search. I'm also concerned that the script they have given me, has a link to Comodo.com and not Sectigo.com in it - and the logo for Sectigo says "Formerly Comodo - I'm concerned that is going to scare shoppers away, so are there other better known companies MIVA can use or is this it?

The javascript they gave said to place 1/2 of it before /head and the rest before the /body tag on each page we want it on (only want it at bottom of SFNT). Authorize/net was easier - one script, put it anywhere - it appeared. I've tried placing the two pieces of script in multiple places and it's not working - tried SFNT and nothing shows and tried within the Base Ready theme and the seal won't show. Any instructions on installing it?
    Thanks!

The real reason for the two names (Sectigo vs Comodo) is because the SSL division of Comodo was sold off from the parent company and had a limited amount of time they could continue to use the name. They continue to be one of the highest volume issuers, and will surely regain the name recognition Comodo had, but to be honest, I don't know of too many consumers that pay any attention to the SSL brand at this point, nor would they likely recognize one of the common brands. In years past people would pay a premium for a Verisign certificate, as it was one of the only recognizable brands, but outside of technology industries, most consumers / B2B purchasers don't seem to know, look, or care about the SSL issuer, and the graphic may clutter a page up more than it helps.

I would not anticipate any issue with using a Sectigo certificate; a good portion of the internet, including many of the largest sites, are all hidden behind Cloudflare, and they use Sectigo for most customers.

This wizard may offer some help with the install code https://trustlogo.com/install/index8...e=Positive-SSL but if that doesn't, or our support staff have not been able to assist, please email me the ticket ID.

Thanks - Joe in support suggested removing the CDData tags and it now shows. To alleviate any confusion, can I change the comodo link in the javascript to Sectigo.com instead? (or a no-no)?
