    PayPal Issue

Is anyone else seeing issues with PayPal Express Checkout right now? When selecting the method on OSEL, it brings me right back to OSEL. If selected from the shopping cart page, I get this message "Paypal Express Checkout Error: Account is restricted (10002)". I logged into our PP account and don't see any issues/warning. I didn't get any notices from them regarding issues and we seem to be getting paid this way for eBay orders.

You have to switch to API credentials in PayPal settings in Miva admin. Get the credentials and you are good to go again

Thank you!!! Do you know if this will cause any issues with other integrations?

Just fixed this problem - it all moves forward as it should!

From my understanding PayPal changed the way they do Express Checkout and now require API credentials.

None of our clients complained and are all happy again.

Thanks again. It appears as though everything is now working. Surprised they didn't send out a notification when it changed.

These were the instructions from PayPal:

              1. Log in to your PayPal account.

              2. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".

              3. Click Request API credentials under "Account information".

              4. Click Set up PayPal API Credentials and Permissions (click learn more if you wish to view FAQ's)

              5. Click Manage API credentials under "NVP/SOAP".

              6. Select Request API signature or Request API certificate, depending on your shopping cart requirements.

              7. Click Agree and Submit.

Here's how to view or remove API credentials:

              1. Log in to your PayPal account.

              2. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".

              3. Click Request API credentials under Account information.

              4. Click View API Certificate or View API Signature, depending on what you previously requested.

              5. Click Done or Remove Certificate.

I used the API signature - you can enter the information it gives you in the PayPal module in Miva.

There is a broken link from the Miva Admin > Payments > Flyout > PayPal Integration Center:

Build powerful payment experiences with PayPal APIs, SDKs, and integration guides.
