    John Smith Google

It appears google is doing some random checkout with products. It really hurts tracking when they do this.

It is always the same although the email address will vary [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]

We have tried blocking the IP address blocks but they switch every few days. The IP always comes back as
    rate-limited-proxy-66-249-89-26.google.com

is there any other method to prevent this from happening

Unfortunately they're doing it from the same network their normal index bots run from, so blocking it by IP or network will likely damage your rankings. I believe it's also the result of using a service of theirs where their terms require your agreeing to allow such scans, so blocking could create issues. Here's some info:

I've been seeing this for years...
If you advertise with google they will attempt to validate your site including shipping policy, return policy, price, and complete checkout process. I've had the issue where they couldn't checkout because of my fraud tools and then shut off my ability to advertise.
