    Authorize.net Currency Settings

    Hi all,

Does anybody know how currency is handled with Auth.net? I'm running a store in Canada. The merchant informed me that a shopper was charged in U.S. funds. Not sure if this is an isolated incident but went back to the payment settings and noticed that the auth net settings doesn't have a currency selector. This is the first time I've used Auth net. I've always used Chase in the past and from what I remember, it had a currency selector in the payment settings.

So I'm assuming that currency would be set at the gateway side?

    Thanks,

    Tony

No place to change currency settings in the Miva module or in Authorize.net online account settings. Your processor would be where to check as that is where Authorize net connects to.
In the Authorize.net online dashboard under Accounts - Merchant Profile. Then under Payment Methods - View Configuration. This will show your processor and the currency that is set.

Ours shows Currency: Canadian Dollar CAD
