How to set up this type of shipping cost?

    Hi folks,

I have a client who wants to offer free shipping for most products, but they also have a small number of heavier products. For the heavy items, they want to charge a fixed cost of $xx.xx per item, e.g. if you buy more than one, the cost is $xx.xx each. The exact amount of "xx.xx" may vary depending on the product. Maybe I have a blind spot; this doesn't seem too tough, but I'm not sure what's the best way to set it up. What do you recommend?

    Thanks --

May want to take a look at old man Weiland's, Emporium Plus Miscellaneous Fee module:

We've been using it for years, though we wish for a better solution.

PS: Sorry for the font issues, for some unknown reasons my forum formatting options are not visible.
