Coupon Codes

Will there be a way to import coupon codes from another system? We issue a lot of coupon codes (new customers, newsletter sign-ups, special organizations, etc...) and I need to find a way to export these codes from our current module and import them into the new system. We currently use Sebenza's coupon module and would like to move away from it.

We also dynamically generate unique coupon codes for new visitors, can the new coupon system dynamically generate a coupon code and display it to the website visitor?

1. Yes you'll be able to Import Coupons (but not yet).

2. Not natively, you'd need a module for that (or Toolkit/Toolbelt). However it can do time based sales, so you can turn on a sale and forego the need for a Coupon code.
