Customer Specified Arrival Date

I'm managing customer owned inventory. The customer wants to use a Miva Merchant interface to order inventory. But instead of selecting a shipping method, the customer wants to be able to specify a delivery date and allow me to choose an appropriate shipping method. Is there a module or something built into Miva that will allow me to do this?

I have a module that downloads transit-time data for UPS and Fedex. It doesn't choose shipping methods, but it does display estimated arrival dates right on the screen, to help customers choose a method that will deliver the order when they want it.
