    Google Checkout EOL

With Google Checkout riding off into the sunset, I thought I removed and deactivated everything I could for it on a site. It seems that the store owners are getting daily emails and now phone calls. The store owner feels like there is still something active or why would they continue to be contacting them? Is it possible I missed something or is the Google Checkout Retirement team just being overzealous?

    Re: Google Checkout EOL

If you deactivate the module, then I would guess they're just being overzealous. My suspicion is what sounded like a good idea 9 months ago, which is decommissioning an ecommerce product the week before Black Friday/Cyber Monday has now lead to fear of a huge backlash.

      Hey Leslie,
You can have Google Checkout stop emailing you by removing the API callback URL in the merchant account.

Go to the Google Checkout account > Settings > Integration > API callback URL and delete.

I also removed all the Google stuff in the graphics/00000001/google/ directory.

That solved the issue for me.
