    Is this giving us the invisible fall back routine so the order goes through or just a more meaningful error code displayed that if we are lucky the customer will tell us.....?
    Neither, it's just an updated 4.x PFP module using their latest API.

      Neither. The new module just uses the latest PayPal API v4, and from what I understand, does not use the old PFP commerce library at all - just sends data to PFP in XML format. This simply lessens the number of problems that have recently been reported with PFP returning error codes 103 and similar and transactions getting declined because of that. PayPay support was only saying that Miva Merchant should be using the new API to resolve the issue, and Miva did release a new PFP module very quickly to address this (way quicker than I anticipated - thank you Rick!).

      I would imagine with the new module they could probably add the functionality of reporting various 'declined' (and 'soft declined') transactions and report the error code in MM admin order details to make it easier to figure out what the problem is.
