Miva Synchro Pre-Sale Integration Questions

    Miva Synchro Pre-Sale Integration Questions

    I have a few questions on Miva Synchro.

    Using Quickbooks Enterprise...

    1. Can it create Sales Orders (as opposed to Invoices or Sales Receipts)?
    2. Can it map custom fields to Quickbooks: 1. Miva custom field order notes 2. Miva custom field PO Number to QB PO No field?
    3. Can it map to a specific customer based on a Miva custom field or if no custom field value, then to the same single customer in Quickbooks (aggregate all orders under 1 customer)?
    4. Does it push shipment tracking information back to Miva?
    5. Is there a trial or refund period if it doesn't fit our needs?

      > Yes, Synchro can map to Sales Orders in QB (only works with QB enterprise by the way)

      2. Can it map custom fields to Quickbooks: 1. Miva custom field order notes 2. Miva custom field PO Number to QB PO No field?
      >Order notes, it does not map order notes or custom fields of the type "order". PO numbers, is this through a module, if so which one, Purchase order plus from Emporium plus? I know Synchro can map the Miva order ID to a P.O. number field in Quickbooks. I do this with my invoices already. See screenshot - https://puu.sh/J2tBh/731b7b62b7.png

      >No on the customer based custom field, but yes on the single customer mapping in QB. In the properties for Sales Orders in Synchro you can map it to a single customer so all orders synchronized will be associated to that one customer in QuickBooks.

      4. Does it push shipment tracking information back to Miva?
      >No, Synchro does not do anything with tracking information, or order status like returns, backorders or cancels. Order synchronization is a one way street From Miva >> to QB, not the other way around. Once the order has been synchronized into Quickbooks Synchro doesn't do anything else with the order so if you make updates to the order in Miva after the fact, Quickbooks doesn't know and Synchro won't touch it unless you delete the transaction in QB and resynch that order ID.
