    VC's Phone Order Module revamp?

Many moons ago, I think still on v5, we had VC's phone order desktop module. A handy little tool to enter orders.
An app like that could be used well for over the counter sales and phone orders getting integrated into the miva store. Somewhat of a POS system.
So why is something like this no longer available?

We are looking to have more integration between our online and in-store sales.
Could something like this be created using Miva's Page Builder?

Not familiar with the old module, but wouldn't the new quick order module help solve this? Assuming the counter sales person knows the sku/code they can rapidly build the cart.. probably could even use a scanner to scan the codes and just tab between fields? We typically will do the order on the site and then switch to review baskets and pull it in to the admin to complete on behalf of the customer, or start with shop as customer then do it all on the frontend side.

The new quick order feature could definitely help. But creating in-store orders at the counter, using -shop as customer- seems to be way too many steps to make it a fluid process. Testing it, these are the steps I counted
      1. create customer in miva
      2. search for customer after created
      3. open customer and click on shop as
      4. add products
      5. click review baskets and search order
      6. open basket and click create order
      7. go to order, clean up customer bill/ship, recalculate tax
Then we still have the order sitting in Miva unpaid (since payment happened at counter checkout instead of online). So I would have to figure out a solution for that.

Its pretty straightforward to create a "Phone Order" template that gave 'someone in the know' short cuts to make ordering faster. for example, just enter product code & quantity and when done, click add all to basket and enter checkout information. Might even be able to bypass info not needed for 'order in store' such as mailing address and move right to payment info.

it might take the handiwork of an actually developer but yea, basically a one page order and checkout process could be built.
