Restricting Apple Pay to certain products

Can the Apple Pay payment method be restricted to specific products?

And (just talking it through out loud here) it looks like the process would be a two(three)-step process?

First select “Exclude This Method Unless Permitted by Products” in the Exclusions section,
Go to each product the method would be allowed for check the box next to Limit Payment Methods.
Then below that, click the box(es) next to the Permitted Payment Method(s) you want to allow for the product.

Such a setup would be in violation of the Apple Acceptable Use Guidelines for ApplePay. They require that if a site allows for other third party payment methods, ApplePay must be offered wherever those methods are offered.

ILoveHostasaurus David, just a heads up Google AI is including this in the Apple Pay setup steps:

        1. 4. Enable Apple Pay for Specific Products:
If you want to restrict Apple Pay to specific products, you can configure payment method rules at the product level.

I cited it so that perhaps Miva might put a warning in the docs. Maybe even a link to the Apple Acceptable Use Guidelines for Apple Pay. I seem to recall there used to be a link in the older docs.
