I do not know about the OUI modules, but you can try the free MMHTML /
MmHTMLc formatted notification modules - besides many other features, they
also include the order number in the subject by default:

I dont see anything about it being free, it says $39.95....what did I do

I do not know about the OUI modules, but you can try the free MMHTML /
MmHTMLc formatted notification modules - besides many other features, =
      they
also include the order number in the subject by default:

as I wrote, they are free without any time restriction, unless you want =
      to
use the more advanced features from the standard or PRO versions.

Duct page, there are radio buttons for the free, the standard and the PRO
versions. When buying the module you have to select one of them, so I
believe it is pretty difficult to miss the free version :) Well, unless you
are still running the several years outdated uncompiled Miva Merchant
version - there is indeed no free uncompiled version.

Oops, the beginning of my last post was trimmed accidentally when sending -
I did not write "duct page", but rather "On the product page" :)

What happens if you leave off the %OUI% and %VAR(Orders.d.id)%?

Are you using a recent version of OpenUI?
