Using Cardservice/LinkPoint Payment Gateway module with Credit
Verification Code Required checked and AVS options: Reject
transactions that fail address number verification and Reject
transactions that fail ZIP code verification UNchecked customer got
    the following error during checkout:

"Unable to authorize payment: CC-4023: Order number given must be unique"

What would be causing this type of error?

    Thanks,
    Leslie

sounds like a duped order number. somebody probably forgot to say
"No" to "Recover order numbers" while deleting expired baskets.

Would that cause an error when the store is packed? If so, I'm not
getting any packing errors. The store also has the OUI one click basket
      cleanup.

If the 1st order was deleted before you packed, you'd get no error.=20
In that case, it's only the gateway that's seeing double (so to
        speak).

Probably not. The gateway shouldn't approve that order number again
(if it follows the rule it seems to be following). It would have to
be placed with a new order number.
