Hi All.
I have prospective client that wants to sell a software product. They
want to offer a downloadable, free 15-day trial version and then sell
the key or a CD-Rom based version.
I was thinking of using MmPass to manage the key distribution. However,
I am not sure this is the right way to go. They have a java-based applet
that is supposed to generate a unique key to unlock the software. They
don't want to have customers download a second version.
I am meeting with them in the morning.
Does MmPass have a key gen component? Or is it best used to only
distribute a fixed key?
What do folks who sell software use?
Regards,
Peter Stoermer
