Re: Customer Password Encryption and Email Login Module from Miva Merchant Available

Question - is this functionality now built into newer releases?

I've followed the instructions and have this module installed. I'm not seeing anything asking for login credentials when I do a test order though, what am I missing?

I'm sorry, I don't see where to set that.

It's not part of this module, but built into Miva Merchant by default. A new store out of the box already asks someone if they want to create an account or login before checkout.

You can turn that on or off by clicking on the name of your Store in the admin and then clicking on Shopping Interface Settings. There's a checkbox there which if unchecked then skips the Account screens during checkout.

              Make sure that's turned on.

The module in this thread does NOT add that functionality it just encrypts those passwords and changes how passwords get reset by customers.
              Thanks,

Ok, thank you, I found it. Now when I go to check out it just renders a blank page. Something else must be switched on or off in my store. Unfortunately I didn't set the store up initially, it was handed over to me as is... Guess I've got some digging to do~

Should I open a ticket to get some help with this?

Yes, they'll try rolling back the template to stock and work forward from there.
                    Thanks,

I found no place to enter the licensing key so I'm saving it in files in case. Also, although its promised to e-mail me the login info, I haven't received it yet...waiting.
