I know this subject has come up before and I Googled the heck out of it but I can't seem to find any conversations of the best reviews modules for a Miva store. I have store owner would like to update from the free Product Reviews by Tess. The "logical" choice would be to upgrade to Miva's Ratings & Reviews. I know there is also Easy Review by Phosphor Media but what else is out there? Any thoughts on Shopper Approved? What else is out there that works nicely with Miva?

There's a 3rd-party service called Yotpo that I've installed for a client. I don't know what it costs, but it seems to work well. The setup was pretty easy, and their support people replied to my questions promptly.Kent Multer

I've used the Phosphor Media reviews module for many years and have been happy with it. I like that it has a follow up email capability which I make use of. Take a look at my store if you want to see how it's implemented.Todd Gibson

I've done an analysis that shows that if a customer is going to reorder the reorder will happen, on average, 42 days after their purchase.
I use the module to send the follow up email at 42 days post purchase to thank the customer for the order, ask them to provide a review of the product purchased, and then (using Emporium Plus Toolkit) I include links to three other products that customers who bought their product also bought.
This email is intended to ask for a review, but it also prompts the customer to reorder at the point at which most reorders happen. I have codes embedded in the email template that allow me to view clicks and purchases that result from the email to evaluate performance. I don't provide a coupon at this point because my analysis shows I don't need to discount to incent reorders until much more time has passed.Todd Gibson

There's not really any code that would be that useful for me to share, I think.
The module allows you to define how many days post sale to send the email. Set that to whatever you choose. And then the module provides an html template for the contents of the email. I built out the template to match the other emails I send from the store and I added campaign parameters to the links in the email so I can track them in Google Analytics.
You can use this tool to build you own campaign links for tracking:
