    Login:
Say a user starts by logging in on a secure page like Checkout - Customer Information. If they then browse around and eventually click checkout everything works great. They stay logged in all the way to the invoice.

But if the user logs in on an insecure page like PROD or CTGY, they can still browse around fine and see the price group pricing appropriate to their account. But, when they click checkout they get logged out and directed to the Login page.

    Logout:
Same basic situation. If the user logged in on a secure page, our navbar logout works on all pages. If the user logged in on an insecure page, navbar logout fails on all subsequent pages.

oldsportbiker, i'd love to know the other things.

I'm still combing the forums for all the info about the wombat transition. I love the blog post Miva Merchant: A Store Morph Technology Mini-Primer. It would be so great to see a post at this level and style that helps us customizers transition to Wombat.

    Thanks!

    Oldsportbiker here:
I solved all of my problems by:

    1. Changing all sessionurls to secure_sessionurls
    2. Replacing all SEO-Friendly internal links with &mvta..... links
I did this conditionally based on whether the user was logged in or not.
Since most of my links are in global templates, they were easy to edit.

I have not seen any abnormal login/logout behavior since doing this

      Re: Miva Merchant 5.5 PR7 (Wombat) Bugs/Issues

      Hi,
I have upgraded to PR7 two days ago, however half way through installation we encountered an error message

Patch-Production-7-00104 Following issue must be ressolved New Table 'Trackinglinks' exists

Full installation is not possible until we fix this error, we do have a support ticket in, however because of this when customers place an order we capture all the data we need for the order excpet the items thay have actually ordered.

Any help on where I can find this 'Trackinglinks' or how we can complete installation much appreciated.

We have now had to put our store in Store Maintance over a weekend which is our prime selling period

      Help???

      Error Code: PATCH-PRODUCTION-7-00104

        Rick,

I am getting the same error when I try to apply a skin. I have a new clean install of Miva 5.5 R7. I uploaded the framework provided with the skin, css_fw.pkg. When I try to apply the framework (select the framework, check 'overwrite images' and 'overwrite css' and click Apply), I get the following message in a javascript window..

Failed to apply framework. UI Module mismatch.

Is there a css_fw module that can be added? What can I do to install this skin?

        thanks

          Re: Miva Merchant 5.5 PR7 (Wombat) Bugs/Issues

          Jeff,

That's because new Wombat installs use CSSUI by default and the current batch of Skins are all MMUI only. We'll have a new batch of CSSUI based skins this summer but for now you'll need to follow the directions below.

If you haven't done anything to your store yet, delete it from the Store Settings screen and hen re-add it but go under settings and switch back to MMUi before you click Add. Support can help if that doesn't make sense.
          Thanks,

            Re: Miva Merchant 5.5 PR7 (Wombat) Bugs/Issues

Is there any instructions or a check list of things to do to insure a smooth upgrade to wombat? I know to upgrade third party modules, and to make the template changes indicated at:

            http://extranet.mivamerchant.com/for...d.php?t=100234

But is there anything else that should be done?

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

                    Anatoly,

                    1. Price Groups currently aren't supported for in admin orders, you'll need to manually adjust the price within the order. This will be added in the July release.

                    2. You need to click Recalculate before you click Save, then it will work just fine.

                    3. That's a server configuration issue, contact your host.
                    Thanks,

I upgraded our test store to release 7 and now I am getting an error when entering an order using the Merchant admin. Manage orders/add new order.

Once the order is entered and you go to edit shipping which brings up edit charges screen when I select a UPS shipping that is set up in the Viking module and click the recalculate button I get an error. The error is..

Miva Merchant returned an invalid response.
                        Function: Order_Recalculate_Charges
                        Response

If I select a shipping method that is in the flat rate table there is no problem and it returns the amount as it should. I use the Viking Coders UPS Custom Integration module because I need to be able to access UPS international shipping rates for our phone in orders.

I have contacted the module developer and he has in turn posted here in this thread.

For shipping I am using CBS Shipping Supermod, Viking UPS Custom Integration and Merchant's Flat Rate Tables.

                          Hugh,

You should check with Viking Coders, this is a known issue in their shipping mods, they'll need to provide you an update.
                          Thanks,

It is certainly a "known issue" but we do not have any idea what the cause is and do not have a fix. I asked about it here a number of posts back but got no real illumination other than "we use that function in our Ajax so maybe there is a conflict". The "missing function" mentioned in the error message is not a function required by shipping modules. The UPS Custom has no javascript in it so a conflict isn't possible. Unfortunately, I have also been unable to replicate it in my test store. I am able to create orders without errors.

I will definitely update the module to work around the issue but at this point I'm going to need some help from those with access to the source to help suggest a possible fix.

                              Michael,

Is this problem affecting all of your shipping modules, or just the UPS? I am using your USPS advanced and will hold off upgrading to Wombat if there is an issue.

The issue is impacting UPS and FedEx (that i know of) and only impacts the ability to calculate rates in admin via the new phone order system.
