We're getting a strange error with American Express cards on our website. A customer called in today giving us this error:
Unable to authorize payment: Your processor is unable to process the Card Type in the currency requested. Please try another card type. (10558)
I then went to place my own order with my personal Amex and I received the same exact error.
Is there anything I should be looking for to troubleshoot this? I've checked every setting I can think of and there isn't anything that seems to be out of place.
The odd part about all of this is the currency-related error. We're a Canadian website, and my Amex along with the customer's Amex are both issued by Amex Bank of Canada, so they are in the correct currency.
Is it possible that Miva's Website Payments Pro module only allows Amex transactions in USD?
