Yeah...no problems here. 100% of our items inserted. 70 warnings for Invalid UPC values. Basically the same result as our regular feed submission. Is this new test feed utility supposed to validate against the impending new requirements?

This is a question that really doesn't have to do with the new requirements, but it's one that seems to give me fits on occasion.

I generated new feeds today and now I'm getting the warning "Expiration date is too far in the future" - but I haven't changed anything.

This is what I'm using to generate the Expiration date

%%year:30%-%month:30%-%day:30%%

The date that was generated in today's feed 2011-10-03

Have I just picked the wrong time of day to generate the feed and then upload it?

I've used the test feed utility - it's displaying different results than the live feed. I'm updating both of the them at the same time. The test feed is showing where I've been working on getting the Google Product Categories assigned. The live feed (which should be identical) shows I haven't added them. I'm going rename the text feed, upload it as the live feed and see what happens.

I just reran the feeds and uploaded them. No expiration warning this time. I think it had a lot to do with the time different from the feed and from Google's timestamp.

Thanks Bill for the great module! Uploaded thousands of variants and thousands of non-variant required products, wouldn't have been possible without your module! Upload went smoothly, no errors on variants.

Just an FYI - if at all possible have your vendors send you the product's UPC and MPN - having those at your finger tips with be a huge time saver when it comes to creating your feed.

Has anyone ever figured out how to export attributes as line items for feeds to Google shopping. We have worked with attributes for several years and it is my feeling that each item must appear on a separate line with the same product code so the customer arrives at the same product for each attribute. We have used Emporiumplus's template feed for many years but this is one area we never figured out. The thought being multiple listing might get you better exposure.
