Paypal Express Gets Wrong Billing Address

Customer is using the built-in Paypal Express module. They are running Production Release 7 Update 10.

When using the paypal express checkout method, the shipping address from the Paypal account is being returned to both Miva's shipping and billing addresses. Here are the steps in the words of the customer:

1) I click the PayPal express button on the cart page
2) I sign into PayPal
3) in PayPal, I change my Shipping Address which is at the top of the payment info screen (I already have credit cards on file with a set billing address)
4) In PayPal, I choose a credit card that has a different Billing Address already filled out.
5) I click the continue button that sends me back to the [miva] store.
6) I arrive at [miva] store where Shipping and Billing info are pre populated with the PayPal shipping information.

Is this how the module is designed or is it a bug? Shouldn't the billing information in Miva be populated with the billing address for the payment method on file in Paypal?

By default the module will pull the address from the customer's Paypal account. You can change that by unchecking 'Use Customer's PayPal Shipping Address for Miva Merchant Orders' in the PayPal Express Checkout tab in Payment Settings.

You can also allow the entire address to be editable by removing the 'PayPal Disable Address Control' item from the OCST page.

Thanks Jim. They'd prefer to keep the shipping information coming over from paypal, but not to have Paypal's shipping information go into Miva's billing information fields. Turning off 'Use Customer's PayPal Shipping Address for Miva Merchant Orders' seems to still bring back the wrong information into the bill-to side.

I didn't know about the 'PayPal Disable Address Control' possibility so I will talk to them about that. But I'd like to get confirmation from you guys that what we're seeing is how it's supposed to work, too. (BTW, the site is using Ultimate Addresses from Sebenza and I don't know if that might present some kind of conflict.)

Yes, it's doing what it's supposed to which is pull over the customer's profile address info from Paypal.
