Ok i have no clue why but the Image Management "Check for updated images" doesn't seem to be working for me i have uploaded a few down sized images and the new images is 500 (w) X 625 (H) yet is still says that it's 972 (w) X 1296 (H)...
If i got to the product and click on the image and then view the large image it is topline-emb-flag_640x800.jpg..... if i got to the image management it shows that the re-sized images have been removed but they are still being used and if i look in the FTP folder they aren't there. It shows that the image has been updated but MIVA's Image Management seems to be ignoring the new size.
the strange part is that some did update the size but others didn't, i dumped my cache in FF my main browser and also tried to "Check for updated images" in Chrome and IE with no a vale it still shows it as being a larger size than it is and uses a down sized larger version of the image........ it's not really cool because not everyone is going to have a screen that will show and image that is that tall since i have the image machine fix the image 100px down and centered also all the extra resizing is killing me with storage space and being that this is a start up and has brought in maybe 10 k in 6 months i can't quite afford more space..
If i'm alone with this issue let me know i'll just burn a few hours replacing the images by hand, now being the only cook in the site kitchen i know i'm not going to get in to this again since i have set a image size standard that i'm adhering to ...
