    Re: Image Management......

did you really upload a 50x625? image machine would have made that into a 48x600 if you max dimension for height was 600. image machine will not make an image bigger, it will only scale it down.

fyi, those other two questions have already been answered in the forums. And you'd probably get more response if you start a new topic and if the answer didn't already exist. search for "image type delete" and maybe "attribute template import". Keep single topics on topic and the forum is much more useful to everyone.

the original image the one that was replaced is 1296 X 972 at 96 dpi and a size of 297Kb.

the image I uploaded to replace it is 500 X 625 at 72dpi with a size of 133kb, I use Photoshop CS5 and saved it as a 10 of of a max of 12 to try to keep the files size below about 150kb.

the image uploaded by support is 500 X 600 at 72dpi with a file size of 118kb.

Oops no that was a typo wouldn't be much detail in a product image that was about a half inch wide....

You spoke to two support techs at miva and they didn't help you? That is suprising to me. They are always helpful and if they don't have an answer right then they have always called me back.

              Re: Image Management......

the last tech acknowledged that there is a bug. it wasn't a big deal for me i just want it pointed out before i fixed the products effected. I was minorly annoyed to have to spend so much time on it. I may have made i more difficult by giving to much information.

The one thing that could be addressed is the tickets. I was told to call and on hold was told it would be faster if i had a ticket. I did have a ticket but had no way to input it or note that i had one...
