Prepopulating the Shipping Address or Taxing at at Alternate Location Rate

In the State of Washington Sales Tax is charged at the point of delivery, which AccurateTax determines for us via a combination of the Street Address and Zip Code entered on the Shipping Address (if that side is used) or the Billing Address, if only that side is used (e.g. the box is checked) on the customer screen.

We have a situation where employees of a company will all be purchasing the same product to be delivered to the workplace. Because of state law we must tax them at the workplace rate, no matter where they live or bill to. There are four delivery locations. When selecting the product the customer must identify (choose) the delivery location via an attribute. The customers will also be using a coupon code that will waive the shipping cost and provide a discount/company subsidy. I have set up a code for each of the four delivery locations. Thus, I will have two ways of identifying the delivery address data.

I have two questions: 1) How can I get the appropriate data pre-populated into the shipping address based on the product attribute or coupon code? and 2) How can I either turn on the checkmark automatically so these customers don't get confused by seeing the shipping side or make the cells non-writablele after they are populated?

Thanks in advance. I'm open to any ideas.

I don't think you will be able to change this, as I would assume that the AccuTax module is pulling the data directly from the Data base via the Tax Modules API.

However, if a Business is purchasing items from you...wouldn't that be B2B and therefore not taxable?

Thanks Bruce. I have a Ticket in at AccurateTax to see what they can do.

I do think the easiest thing will be to prepopulate the Shipping info based on the delivery location attribute. Then the appropiate tax code will be applied. The reason this isn't B2B is that the employees are buying a preparedness kit with a hefty company subsidy. The coupon code that they enter at checkout waives shipping charges (the company handles that) and provides the discount (which we get paid later by the company). Thus, both portions of each sale are taxable because nothing is resold.
