In all the discussion, this has probably been missed. We're working on a permanent solution for Certified Devs, so their accounts bypass this restriction. Our plan is to solve it by March.

Add us to the list of those disappointed with the per seat concurrent user charge. 99% of the time we will only have one user logged in at a time and due to a major project with updating the look and feel of our miva products and categories, we pool together 4-5 employees 1 day per month to knockout a lot of these changes.

So basically it is going to cost us $2400 per year to have 4 users logged in concurrently for 12 days out of the year. That seems absurd to me and hope you plan on addressing this somehow. Not to mention the fact that this wasn't even mentioned to us before we did the miva 9 update which we sent an email to miva asking what would be effected by upgrading from version 5.5 to version 9.

Hoping something can be done about this and at the minimum have a small per day per user fee.

That's certainly a use case we've never considered. Next time you're up against it, email me personally and we'll see if we can do a short term solution for you.

I'll consider that as we measure the impact of this change going forward.

This would be the same problem as a developer coming in for applying changes. Sometimes 2 of us apply changes.

It's worth noting you (the customer) are in control. So you can go up/down on a month by month basis. And the later in a given month you begin, it's prorated.

So some of this is already in your control.

Something like that, but you have to commit to the month you're in. So if you sign up on 12/1 for a seat it's $50. 12/15 it's $25. Etc...

Just wanted to say that I''m confident you guys will come up with a solution so developers can continue working on a site without kicking the client out and short term updates requiring many seats will be possible too without paying out of your nose.

What about a setup where an extra seat is charged only when used. $50 would be the level that gets you an extra unlimited seat, where as a smaller company who doesn't utilize an extra seat everyday gets charged on a per use basis.?

We're working on a solution for certified developers who build modules or work across many stores doing support and maintenance.

However there's no possibility we're going to be adding in a second seat at our old pricing.

In your case ezlevel you should purchase a seat.
