Unless there is a compelling reason for these values to be part of the actions tag, please put them back into hidden form fields.

I'll find out from Dev, but I can assure you we don't just make changes randomly, so the reason will be compelling. You should plan on updating your module(s).

The changes were made in order to interoperate with our PA-DSS required vulnerability scanner, and also to provide more meaningful information in the server access log.

If you can give me an example of the JavaScript code you're using we may be able to figure out a way to allow your JavaScript to continue working and still keep our scanner happy.

know just waiting for the official release of wombat non beta , and trying to figure out some free shipping right now for orders ,once figure out a new module we just got from Bill, but have updated all modules we have now for wombat (thanks to the list of modules needed to be updated) and looks like there will be a lot of good things coming ,figure that for us is the best way for us to go

I know Miva has been working hard on wombat and I was wondering if Beta 7 is fairly close to the product release or there still some major bug fixes before it is released?

I'm getting pretty anxious to use wombat on our live store and I'm not sure if I should wait to install the production release or if I "should" be ok with the beta release?

Right now here's the plan:

Beta 7 is close to a final beta, there are some minor changes coming in Beta 8 regarding session management and that will be out soon, possibly this week.

Beta 8 should be the final beta with the next release after Beta 8 being the Production release.

I would guess final release will be 2 to 3 weeks after Beta 8, most of that will be due to the release certification and scanning requirements we now have to go through for PA-DSS and there is just no way to shortcut them and the sheer size of this release will guarantee a very long and thorough test plan.

As for using Beta 7 on a live store, that is certainly up to each merchant and should in no cases be done without both a full backup and development environment to test before deployment. However we've been running the Beta on our live store as I know a few others here on this list have been and the problems thus far have been minor.

FYI - Beta 8 has been released. Beta 7 has a bug in it that causes problems with Automatic Updates, so MAKE SURE YOU CLICK REVIEW AND INSTALL UPDATES and install Beta 8 from that location.

This will also solve you automatic update issue in the future.

what I am curious about is you talked about new reporting options and I haven't seen those yet.

Chris,

You'll need to open a ticket to get it fixed, don't try to re-run it.

Reporting options didn't make it into Wombat, they'll be in the first Post Wombat release.

I know I am waiting for the oficial no beta release since I'm Live just hoping it come out soon ,Chuck says were set to go with a lot once it releases and we will be ready for a few items to work ,wish I was in San Diego though this week instead of playing in a foot of snow and ice

Just checking in on some of the requests to see what the status is:

1. Admin and customer notes?

2. How do we process a return when the customer has ordered 10 but would like to return 2? Currently it looks like the "create return" option will select the item and return the full amount

3. Under Manage Orders > Search - can we search by name? We get many customers that call about their order but don't have their order number.

4. Does Miva track invoice changes? Currently when a change is made to an invoice (for any reason including additions, items removed, address changes etc.) We change the order number to XXXX-1 (in quickbooks) and attach it to the old order. That way if anyone looks at the order they can see that the order was changed somehow. Is this an option or is there a section for internal and customer notes where we can include this information?

5. Order invoice that can be printed from Miva?

6. Checking order status with a postal code...Does the customer need to enter the postal code exactly or will it look up the order with a space?
ie. A1A 1A1 vs A1A1A1

7. Can we re-order the states/provinces manually? We would like to list the Canadian provinces together, then list the US states together.
