Apple Pay Integration

I am using Authorize.net as the payment gateway and have follow the steps on (http://docs.miva.com/how-to-guides/applepay). I was able to see the button and the apple pay does show up to allow me to enter billing/shipping information. However, when I use my thumb to pay, it declined and redirect me back to the basket page.

It looks like for Authorize.net user, we need to create a developer account, enroll in their development program ($99 per year), then I am able to set up an apple merchant ID to submit a CSR? For those that have done this, is that correct? I don't want to sign up if this is unnecessary.

No you do NOT need to do those steps of creating a developer account. Something else isn't working.

The common problem I have run across is that the Merchant Account / Bank doesn't accept Apple Pay. Please make sure that yours does.

According to Miva setup link i sent previously, I don't need to do anything on Authorize.net side but the below link stated that I need to follow those steps for authorize.net to work.

When i use my iphone to pay, there wasnt' any error.

The auth.net docs have nothing to do with Miva's implementation.

If it works on your iPhone, then it's working and something is amiss on your desktop test.

My processor is First Data, so it's on the authorize.net list for Apple Pay to work.

For what it's worth Apple.com has bugs in their ApplePay implementation when you use Desktop that I've documented for them and they've been unable to fix, so maybe you found the same bug. I'd suggest opening a ticket.

When I am on Authorize.net portal under digital payment solution, it stated that I need to sign up to enable Apple Pay. And the process is to get an Apple Merchant ID as well as submitting a CSR.

Just to be clear, are you saying I dont need to do this for the Miva implementation and that it should just work?

Correct, you do NOT need to do that.

That is correct. With Auth.net and Apple Pay, you don't need to go through their setup process. Miva has a special API (provided to us by Apple) we make calls to which does all the setup for you. It registers your website with Apple and allows you to skip the CSR process. You should just need to enable Apple Pay in Miva and it should just work provided your auth.net account is using of the Apple pay supported processors:

Are you a MivaPay user? If so, most likely there is conflict with payment method exclusion
