OT: Do you Froogle?
Sounds like you do pay. From what I read you must be a AdWords customer to
sign up and I have not found them very helpful after hundreds of dollars of
advertising. The referral rate simply sucked! (Sorry for the word ;) Maybe
all our sites just do not attract as many customers. Who knows....

I got the same response as you. I have the export module written but
need to know the order they want the fields in. Otherwise, the module

I'm glad Mr. Coop posted the info about Froogle. Google isn't MY choice of

Guest repliedShipping Configuration
I think your shipping policy will be hard for shoppers to understand, but it
can be done. People with $75 will have to select the free option but no one
else will be able to.
Enable Price table shipping;
Make the charge for totals below $75 be "on the expensive side" depending on
your product's price. Just set it up where is will be a choice no on wants.
Call it something boring like "regular shipping"
Make a second option in it for total $75 or more. Make it charge sero and
label it as "FREE shipping for order total $75 or more".
Then (after you enable the price table shipping, so that the weight table
shipping is rendered first on checkout)
make all items weigh 1 (pound) and Enable weight table shipping:
Make Certificate weigh zero.
Setup the weight table where it charges $7 for the first "pound" and $0.5
per "pound" after that. Call this method something encouraging like
"Economy shipping".
In item B product screen click on the shipping weight table tab and add
$0.5. For C add $1. If you do not know what that is check
http;//mivahelp.com/steps/ship3.htm
In the header of the shipping screen say that shoppers with totals over $75
need to select the free shipping option available in the drop down list.
All shoppers will automatically get the rates you want. Gift certificates
will be free. If people had less than $75 but wanted to pull a fast one they
will not be able to take advantage of free sipping since the only other
option will be the pricier "regular" shipping pulled from the price table.
if they had more than $75 and they will be able to select the "FREE shipping
for order total $75 or more" option.

Why don't they indeed...if your gateway supports them, take it. The
difference in actual cost per order should be low enough not matter...again,
its a different world...in brick and mortar, its unlikely you'll loose an
order by NOT taking Diner's Club-the card holder has to have another method
of paying and is not interested in driving to another store to make the
purchase...online, its way to easy (and the easy part is that there is no
"face" lost, no interaction or "embarrassment").

JCB? In fact, why would anyone NOT take PayPal? They could be losing
sales
because of it.
Most merchants don't take Diner's Club because (my assumptions here) the
costs and hassle aren't worth the anticipated low volume.
It DOES irk me when a merchant's site doesn't accept AMEX, but if they
are
the only source for what I want (such as that latest hot module), then I
curse and pull out my Visa.

Guest repliedTop header buttons not appearing
I had the same problem with my header. Use absolute URLS. Everything
else relative.
============================
When I hit the account menu bar button in the header my site correctly
switches to the secure server, but then Miva is looking for the header
button graphics using the https:// secure server address and is not
finding them.
The buttons in the header do not show since they are trying to find them
under the https:// when they are in the http:// non-secure server area.
Ever hear of this?
Thanks for any help,

Yep - check your host to make sure it can find your files in any directory,
just like http://
If you're calling in an html file using something like DisplayWizard, they
need to fix the issue.

Maybe I'm missing something then.
It is my understanding that the search engines that do not index our
merchant sites will index the mirror and therefore all the links offered
to the public will be directly to a mirror page; right ?
If that is the case then what kind of impression is one going to make if
the customer sees a crappy page that only a developer would understand
that it is just a mirror page to hook search engines ???
As far as html goes I was finding stuff like table fragments

Oh. Just worked out what that "-" is. You have not entered any
keywords in the Basic Config.
Two things. Firstly, you are very welcome to take what SEK2
creates and change it from a "design" perspective to match the
look and feel of your site to perfection.. but why? SEK2 is a way
to generate lots of content with little effort. The purpose of the
SEK2 mirror is very specific.. and it ISN'T to have someone surf the
mirror.. quite the opposite. So while changes to create visual
perfection are a choice you can make.. why do it? You loose the
ability to quickly generate the mirror based on the current data in
your store.
Now as far as perfect HTML go, I have no doubt that you are right..
and at the same time what is the implication? I admit to some
lazy HTML habits as a developer, and these are around parts of the
HTML definition that are states as "the way it should be" but in
reality have absolutely zero implication in the real world. The
SEK2 mirrors will load very happily in IE and Netscape all the way
back to v3.

Oops, accidentally washed your last replies away. The purpose of a doorway
is to provide ALL the relevant text relating to the keywords that would look
stupid and redundant to visitors. It's not supposed to trick SE's but serve
as an asset. State Farm years ago were the first ones to use the technique
and everyone sat back to see what would happen. They were #1 on the lists
and the feedback was the doorways were relevant and precise to their
business. Because of the idiots out there now using doorways pertaining to
Honda and the actual site is ***** is causing trouble for all. Andrea
should probably have last say on this issue. My sites have been listed with
and without doorways. Cyn
BTW, I can't send you the doorways, it would be a breach of their contract.
