    Also, I now have discovered a potentially related problem. We are using the basic Fedex shipping module, along with USPS module. But when we select "Print Shipping Label" for an order, the only shipping label options that appear in the dropdown are for USPS, even when the customer has chosen a Fedex shipping option for their order. Do we need to upgrade our Fedex module to the Viking Fedex advanced module in order to be able to print Fedex shipping labels? Also, when we try to print a USPS label, we get an error message saying that our account is not authorized to access the Delivery ConfirmationV3 API, even though USPS says that we are.
    What's the problem here?

    Basically, we don't want to commit to using the new Order/Shipment Management features of the Wombat update (by deactivating the Customer Account Management module) until we are certain that all of the new Order/Shipment Management fuctions are working correctly. At this point, they do not seem to be.

      Right now we only support label generation from USPS and in theory UPS (but we're having some issues with UPS). We're currently writing a new FedEx module that will include labels and be out later this summer.

      As for why USPS isn't working, everyone will have this issue until THEY approve you for Delivery Confirmation API, we had to do it ourselves and you just need to call them and ask them to enable that.

        I do not know if this is a bug in Wombat or Synchro, but when an order is canceled in Manage Orders, it still downloads into QB as a valid order.

            Any estimate on the update to Miva Synchro? I have also noticed that Synchro is having problems with the company field and the second address field.

                Admin Screen

                Can we please have access to the CSS file that controls the Admin screen or can someone please make the columns/work spaces expand properly? I am using a large screen (1920x1200) and the layout is less than optimal.

                Please view the following 2 images:

                1. Import Products from Flat File screen close up

                2. Import Products from Flat File full screen

                As can be seen from 1., the content of row 1 is completely unreadable. Why isn't cross browser checking being done? I use Opera, the browser that follows Web standards the most closely.

                As can be seen from 2., the Import products from flat file section barely fills half the screen and could be/should be, double the width that it currently is. If it were double the width (filling all that blank space to the right), it is possible that the content of row 1 might be readable.

                Secondly, as can be seen from 2., despite having a massively wide screen, the content in the left column of the Admin screen, is chopped off. It is not such a big problem in this store, because there is only one third party module installed at this time. However, when drilling down into sub sub menus of some of the modules, it becomes a complete pita. Why cannot the left column be expandable somewhat? A kludge that works across ALL browsers is to insert a one pixel high spacer gif that is the minimum width you want the left column to be (i.e. the current width) and then set the left column to be a % width. This would allow the leftcol to expand for wide screens but maintain a minimum width for smaller widths. This issue has been around since the introduction of 5.5 yet it still isn't fixed.

                  Something to watch for!

                  The PR 7 update unassigned all products from price groups. Not a big problem if you know in advance.

                    This is definitely not normal. Our store uses price groups and nothing happened to the assigned products when we went through the beta updates to get to PR7. I also just tested this with my testing store and the products assigned to the price groups were not touched.

                        Yeah it's weird, you might take a few mins and do a deep testing of your store to make sure everything's working as you'd expect.

                        This could be a fluke or it could be a sign of some database stuff, no way to know other than to test.

                          A customer called to order by phone after repeatedly getting a "session timed out" error during checkout after Customer Info page. Should have asked if it was after inputting cc info. Have noticed a number of abandoned carts. Could this be a bug or just a problem with Authorize.net?

                            Could be a problem with your session management. Do you have a dedicated SSL cert or a shared cert? Did you edit your cookie settings at all after upgrading?

                            Unlikely that it's an Authorize.net problem.
