    Re: Production Release 8 Bugs

    After updating to PR8:
    1. Products with Inventory Variants can not be purchased.
    2. On the inventory variants tab for the product it just shows "Loading..." where the list of variants should be.
    3. Manage Orders AND Manage Shipments pages do not display any orders, only "Loading..." where the list of orders would normally be.

This behavior is manifested in Chrome and FireFox. IE functions normally.

So here is a good one.

      Google Chrome 12.0.742.91 or 12.0.742.100
Go into Manage Orders or Manage Shipments and it is completely blank.

      Firefox 4.0.1 is fine.

*edit* cleared browser cache and it's fine. Sorry for the false report!

        Moda,

We already sent you the info on fixing your problem. Yours is peculiar to your setup and not an across the board PR8 issue.

          Koala,

Try clearing your browser cache on Chrome and see if that solves it.

            Weird issue.
I have a product that is set to hide out of stock. The inventory is 0 on it and does not come up on category or search pages. However you can navigate to it via it's URL and I am not sure how, why or if this has done this before.

IE9 Order Management Screen versus FireFox Order Management screen

              FireFox:

Any Clue? Cannot be a caching issue, as I have never accessed this admin in IE at all..

I just installed the Release 8 update, and am having the same problem with IE9 - no orders show. Clearing cache has no effect. Firefox does work for me as well.

We've been unable to reproduce this internally, did you try emptying your browser cache?

Yes, I cleared the history twice with no effect. Changing IE Compatibility View has no effect either.

I see the same difference in the Manage Orders page as GDesign's posting shows.

I'm running IE Version 9.0.8112.16421; Update Version 9.0.1 (KB2530548). KB2530548 lists an issue date of 14 Jun 2011 - is it possible that you don't have that update installed?

IE 9 problem occurred on 2 brand new client PC's - there was nothing in the cache - the machines are about 2 days old with all fresh installs ;)

The above image were taken on my PC, but again - IE9 had just been installed - nothing in the cache, yet, as I ONLY use IE for design compatibility testing, not my preferred browser (smile) - client results look identical to images posted...

ok - I cleared EVERYTHING - temp files/cookies/history/download history/form data/passwords/activex filtering and tracking protection data.

closed the browser - re-logged back into the admin and now the manage Orders section looks just like in FF...including the 'authorized with..' drop down missing...

very strange...but at least now I can access Orders through IE9...

It's important to clear your cache, not your history.

Yeah, I get that Rick - but the client has brand new computers - with brand new OS installed - so that's what threw me off..and I can vouch for that being the case, as we set those systems up for him...

I just cleared everything this time, as cache was already cleared prior and didn't fix it.
