MM9 Bugs

I believe that I have discovered a few bugs in the new Miva 9 Administrative interface:

1. When trying to add an image for a product using the image engine , "Image" tab in the new interface I am unable to enter the file name of an image that has already been uploaded to the image directory by FTP. The application only seems to be able to upload an image, not locate one that has already been uploaded.

2. When trying to add products to a discount group , I am unable to toggle the product selection. When I try either by clicking on an individual button or using the check mark and drag or "Command" + A , I see the animation, all of the buttons move to the right and turn green and then snap right back to unselected.

Both of these issues have been reported to tech support and neither appears to have been resolved in the past 48 hours.

While the ideal solution for both Payment and Shipping SuperMod breaking Universal Search is for them to update their module, we're also including a fix in 9.0001 that will stop their mods from causing this.

We also confirmed it from Harpkit in 5.5004.

Shipping SuperMod... removing it fixed the problem.

I have the same problem on a DEV site the Search feature is not working at all.

No. I don't have Payment Supermod. Would you like me to post or PM you a list of third party modules I use to help you isolate the module?

We know there are at least 2 third party modules that break this functionality. One of them is Payment Supermod 5.0001 (we have yet to get other versions to test against). The other one we know exists, but haven't isolated the module yet.

Do you happen to have Payment Supermod?

We have a fix on our end (even though it's caused by bad CSS in a third party module) slated for 9.0001.

I am having two problems with the Universal Search box:

1. It doesn't work. Nothing happens at all. I type stuff in and nothing shows up. I hit enter and nothing happens.

2. The search box itself only shows up when my browser window is sized "right". It will be there and then I will resize the window and -poof- it is gone. Then I will resize the window again and it magically reappears.

Both problems occur in both Firefox and Chrome.

Half the features in my 9 admin does not work.
